Swamp Report

My beautiful photographer wife, Barbara, grew up in Louisiana. This surprises many because she barely says "y'all" anymore. Perhaps it is because she knows the worst of the bayou, having had one in her backyard, that she has not embraced the allure of the swamp. But many landscape photographers can't get enough of it. 

My third swamp trip was this past month with a couple buddies shown here. It led me to start my own workshop in east Texas next fall. Yes, there is a big swamp on the border of Texas and Louisiana. 

To my surprise, there is enough demand to guide and instruct three different workshop sessions. I am so looking forward to that. To see some images from Caddo Lake, visit this page.
