FRAMED PRINT WINNER

Congratulations to the winner of the print giveaway, Karl Turner. Thank you for subscribing and reading at least some of my articles, Karl! Please email me with your print selection and plan a good sized wall space for this limited edition print!

Here is how I selected the winner. I used an app called RNG (random number generator). First, I generated a single random number (it was 9). Then I picked the winning number by using a range of all the readers of the newsletter and kept going until the ninth generated number. Then I counted down to the subscriber/reader who was that number. That was Karl.

I am not sure what I will be giving away in 2024, but certainly something nice. I have been blessed in so many ways, so this is a fun way to give to someone else.

This article discusses using the Calibration Tool in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw to make colors pop. For this and the next article on vignettes and sharpening, the following partially processed image will serve as our example. READ MORE...

FLOW

The direct path (as the crow flies?) and the path of least resistance can be two entirely different experiences. To me, this abstract image represents the flow of our lives as a unexpectedly beautiful experience when we yield to the path of least resistance rather than dead head to an end point.

This image is from a series of abstract images that I recently published, titled "Our Breathing Earth". To see more of that series, visit my home page.
