And so are you! You aren't supposed to insult your audience and I would not say that if considered it an insult. What do you do with your art when you don’t see eye to eye with your buyer, decorator, or designer? Or more precisely, what do you do when you don’t see “color” to “color”. For the most part, if an artist creates a piece he or she is proud of and if someone does not like it, that person does not consider using in a home or business. They just pass. The potential buyer just moves on. Sometimes the reason for the difference of opinion color is color blindness, more accurately termed color deficiency. EXPOSURE CONTROLS |

It is movement of (some of) the lens elements nearer or farther from the sensor that puts our image in focus at a certain distance. This distance is either controlled manually by turning a ring on the lens or automatically by the camera electronics moving the lens via a motor within the lens. If your lens does not have electronic connections, it is only going to focused by the manual method. May Trips and Exhibits: We are taking it easy this month with only one scheduled trip to Cottonwood and Sedona with our travel trailer. My show at Mountain Artists Guild ends May 14. Both Barbara and myself will have prints displayed at the Mountain Artists Guild Booth at the Fine Art and Coffee fair on the Prescott downtown square May 7 & 8. A selection of prints will be displayed at Cuppers coffee beginning May 17 and continuing for a couple months. If you are in town, stop by one of these locations! |
GALLERY SHOW THIS MONTH I will have a selection of works on display at Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott from April 18 to May 15 this year. There will be a private showing on Thursday, April 21, 4-7pm. If you would like to attend this showing and have a glass of wine, please use the contact form to let me know how many you will be attending. Art Walk is on the Friday, April 22, 5-8pm. No RSVP necessary for that one. I will also provide a link to a virtual show with the May newsletter.
