THE TEMPEST

This new release has received a lot of attention for its emotional elements. The image is a color image, but it looks very close to a sepia toned monochrome image. I was photographing with a couple of buddies from the rim of the Grand Canyon, hoping for some good lightning strikes (at a distance) when this storm swept across our view. Accented by the backlight of the sun and the windswept pattern of the rain, this image can be a dramatic centerpiece when properly displayed. I am only offering five copies of this image in smaller sizes as the Print of the Month offering.

August Festivals & Travels 

Barbara and I are exhibiting at the Summer Fine Arts Show on August 5 and 6 at the Courthouse Plaza in Prescott. Come by and say ""hi" if you are in the area. 

We will be out shooting the monsoons in Arizona this month. Near the end of the month we will be hitting the California coast for visits with friends and family as well as a bit of surf photography.
